The new body shape of the LOOK KEO Blade pedals optimizes the front part and smoothes the transition between the shoe and the pedal, reducing aerodynamic resistance. The latest version also comes with ceramic bearings. The elegant lines of the blade harmoniously match, pushing the KEO Blade pedal to the top of its category in terms of aerodynamics. This combination of aesthetics and efficiency redefines performance standards for demanding cyclists. The main advantage of ceramic bearings is their long service life. Rounder and harder than traditional balls, they are less sensitive to dust or deposits and guarantee consistency and durability. In addition, ceramics are not subject to corrosion. These physical properties ensure that the bearings have a lifespan 4-6x longer than standard steel bearings. Lower friction is the best known and most prominent advantage of ceramic bearings. The perfect circular shape and hardness of the balls, combined with optimized lubricants specific to ceramics, allow the friction forces acting on the bearing to be reduced by up to 18%.
