The stresses coming from the road are transmitted directly to the handlebars in the form of unpleasant vibrations, which in a short time can turn into an unpleasant tingling in the hands, which reduces comfort and grip on the handlebars, with negative consequences for performance and safety. To absorb and minimize them, you need to hold the handlebars firmly. A simple but great idea introduced by the Shock-Absorber Kit from Selle Italia.

SG-Tape is a special grip wrap that allows you to ensure even greater comfort and better grip on the handlebars, which brings benefits in terms of performance as well as safety in the saddle.

Handlebar pads are made of three layers of different materials: the first, gel, helps simulate muscle behavior, presses on the pad and recovers to its original shape in a few seconds, as soon as the hand pressure is minimized, the pad returns to its original shape. In addition to the gel layer, the addition of PU foam and a third layer of Lycra help increase the softness of the pads. Thanks to the specific assembly of these two components, the Shock Absorber Kit, in addition to being one of the lightest on the market, also performs a combined action that produces a very effective absorption of vibrations.
