Pinarello Grevil F9 frame

Pinarello Grevil F9: Top Gravel Frame for Maximum Performance
The Pinarello Grevil F9 is a gravel bike frame that embodies top engineering solutions and the latest technology in cycling. It aims to provide riders with maximum speed, stability and versatility while taking into account the various terrain conditions they may encounter.

Material and Construction
The frame is made of carbon material Torayca CARBON T900 UD. This type of carbon is currently one of the most advanced on the market, developed in collaboration with the Japanese company Toray Industries, a leader in the production of carbon fibers. Torayca CARBON T900 UD is known for its extreme strength and at the same time low weight, which makes it possible to create a frame that is extremely stiff, but at the same time light. This material provides an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, which is key to achieving high performance, especially on gravel and other demanding terrains.
One of the most striking features of the Grevil F9 frame is its asymmetric construction. This innovative concept was developed with the aim of improving the transmission of power from the pedals to the rear wheel, minimizing energy losses and increasing overall driving efficiency. In an asymmetric design, the right side of the frame, where the drive is housed, is designed differently from the left side. This ensures an even distribution of forces and pressure points, reducing the risk of frame deformation during intense sprints or on difficult climbs.

Geometry
The geometry of the Pinarello Grevil F9 is designed to provide an optimal balance between comfort, stability and speed. The frame has a slightly longer top tube and taller head tube, which improves stability and control on gravel and uneven surfaces. Compared to classic road bikes, the rider's position on the Grevil F9 is slightly more upright, which reduces fatigue during long rides and improves comfort on uneven terrain. At the same time, however, the frame is aggressive enough to allow dynamic acceleration and quick changes of direction, which is essential on technical sections.

Front fork
The fork is made from the same Torayca T1100 1K carbon material as the frame, ensuring consistent performance and stiffness. The fork is designed for use with disc brakes, which ensures reliable braking performance in any conditions, including wet or gravel. The fork also provides plenty of room for wide tires, up to 42mm for 700c wheels and even wider for 650b. This adaptability is key for gravel riding, where different conditions require different tire widths for optimal performance.

Rear frame construction
The rear part of the frame is made of Torayca CARBON T900 UD and designed with an emphasis on maximum energy transfer and comfort. The asymmetrical rear construction contributes to a better balance of pedaling forces, while the upper and lower rear struts are arranged to optimize vibration absorption and reduce rider fatigue. This design also ensures compatibility with disc brakes and provides enough space for wide tires, which is essential for gravel cycling.

Center stack and head tube
The frame's central composition is designed for maximum stiffness, which is critical for efficient power transfer. The Pinarello Grevil F9 uses the BB386 system, which allows the use of different types of centerpieces and increases the frame's versatility. The head tube is designed to provide stability at high speeds and precise steering, which is essential when riding on rough terrain. Head tube stiffness is also boosted by the use of Torayca T1100 1K carbon, increasing the frame's overall durability and reliability.

Cable management
The internal cable routing in the Grevil F9 frame is not only an aesthetic element, but also a functional solution that reduces air resistance and protects cables from damage and contamination. This system is compatible with both electronic and mechanical kits, giving riders a wide choice of components. The integration of cable routing into the frame is designed to minimize friction and simplify maintenance.
