The best technologies FOX has to offer are available in Factory Series models, including the ultra-durable original Kashima Coat finish that ensures buttery smooth operation. The high-quality air shock with a 2-position Open/Firm control lever that maintains high and low speed compression settings has received many improvements since the 2024 model year.From the outside, the 2024 model doesn't look that different from the previous version, but most of the changes are on the inside:
- New base valve piston design and compression tuning increase damping performance and improve sensitivity
- New housing seal package virtually eliminates the possibility of air entrapment
- New seals for better durability
- New shock absorber body made of stronger AL7000 duralumin alloy
- New hard chrome finish on the shock absorber shaft for increased durability
