FOX 36 Factory E-Optimized GripX 29" Suspension Fork, 160mm, Gloss Black
All-Mountain specialist with 160mm lift for electric bikes! The FOX company comes from model year 2025 with redesigned Float 36 forks that bring improvements to existing technologies and has prepared a special version of the Float 36 fork intended for demanding use on electric bicycles. The FOX 36 E-Optimized forks feature improved damping tuning and reinforced construction to meet internal stiffness and strength requirements as well as EN, ISO and ASTM test requirements for Class 1 and Class 3 e-bike use cases with increased system weight. They are designed for a maximum system weight of up to 169 kg! The "Factory" label says it all. The best technology that FOX can offer is available in the Factory Series models, including our ultra-durable original Kashima Coat, which ensures a buttery performance of the fork.

TECHNOLOGIES:
GRIP X Damping: When it's time to climb, simply turn the high-speed compression dial clockwise until you feel the final distinct click. At this point, GRIP X closes both high-speed and low-speed compression simultaneously, creating a solid platform for efficient power transfer to the pedals. Before descending, return the high-speed compression control to the desired setting and descend with all the added traction and predictability without compromise.
Float: The lightweight FLOAT air suspension system automatically balances the positive and negative air chambers for increased responsiveness and traction regardless of air pressure setting. Riders can fine-tune the properties of the positive air spring with Volume Air inserts.
Bleeders: The forks have bleed valves in the back of the lower legs, which you can use to equalize the pressure in the fork legs with atmospheric pressure. The different pressure in the fork reduces the sensitivity of the suspension, so you can adjust it by simply pressing the valve with your finger. The pressure in the legs changes mainly at higher temperatures, for example during intensive use in long descents or at high altitudes.
Lower Leg Channels: New air-oil channels allow trapped air in the lower legs to pass through the sliding bushings. The second function of the channels is to allow oil from the lower legs to reach the top seals (buffers) and keep them freshly lubricated.
Floating Axle: A new system for the axle prevents the parallelism of the fork legs from being affected by the different width of the front hub. Perfect alignment reduces friction during suspension, which is thus more efficient and smoother. You can adjust the mechanism on the right leg of the fork exactly for your hub width, and when the axle is retracted, compression of the legs is eliminated.
Lower Leg Arch: The bridge between the lower legs has a new rounded shape, which increased the stiffness of the fork and at the same time created more space between the bridge and the bike frame when the fork is fully compressed.
