The label " Factory " says it all. The best technologies that FOX can offer are available in the Factory Series models, including the ultra-durable original Kashima Coat surface treatment, which ensures smooth running of the fork. Competition is the driving force behind innovation and as race organizers prepare increasingly difficult and technically demanding courses, the boundaries of lightweight components are being pushed. That's why FOX has improved the 34 Step-Cast fork to meet the current needs of racers. FOX has updated its family of 34mm suspension forks with a lighter and stiffer construction, smoother internals, and better adjustability than ever before.The lower legs received a new bridge shape, which is taken from the high-lift forks 36/38/40. This arch optimizes the stiffness-to-weight ratio, it protrudes further forward, which is in line with the trend and ensures sufficient clearance during full compression. On the back of the lower legs, you will find channels that serve to increase the air volume, as a result, a gradual reduction in pressure is ensured, which ensures that the fork is able to achieve full compression. The channels also serve to circulate oil to the upper parts of the lower legs and regularly lubricate the foam rings and inserts when the fork is compressed.

STEP-CAST (SC) - The distinctive shape of the outer lower legs is not just for looks, they use a narrow shape to reduce weight and the construction creates additional space for the spokes and brake disc. The FOX 34 SC features 34mm inner legs and enough casing overlap for a quality ride, and hollow lower legs provide even more weight savings.

KASHIMA COAT – The revolutionary inner leg coating technology by electrically adding molybdenum disulfide to the micropores is used exclusively on FOX Factory Series forks and shocks. The brown-gold surface of the legs reduces mechanical friction by up to 40% compared to conventional hard anodizing. It gives the fork buttery smooth operation and is much more resistant to mechanical damage.

Damping FIT4 – Already the fourth generation of the patented FIT closed cartridge allows adjustment of the compression on the crown in three positions (Open, Medium, Closed) during rides for the best possible adaptation of damping to driving conditions. The top-of-the-line Factory Series forks also have the option of fine-tuning the open position (within a range of 22 cranks) so that each rider can adjust the compression according to their own preferences.

FLOAT AIR SUSPENSION (FOX Load Optimum Air Technology) - The lightweight FLOAT air suspension system automatically balances the positive and negative air chambers for increased responsiveness and traction regardless of air pressure setting. Riders can fine-tune the properties of the positive air spring with Volume Air inserts.

AIR VOLUME SPACERS - The progressiveness of the compression can be additionally fine-tuned with the help of delimiting inserts in the positive air chamber, with which each rider can fine-tune the suspension according to their own requirements and driving preferences.

EVOL (EXTRA VOLUME) - An enlarged negative air chamber significantly improves the response of the fork. This increases comfort as the breakaway moment can be reduced. In addition, the more linear characteristic of the spring offers better performance, especially in the middle of the stroke.
