Key innovations:
• New design - 20% more torsional rigidity than the previous model, approaching the steering precision of the FOX 38 model.
• Arch Optimization - Generatively designed new arch 36 increases torsional rigidity, while strategic cutouts minimize weight and enhance aesthetics.
• Ultra-low friction FLOAT Glidecore air spring - All-new design with a floating air spring core that separates the strut from the air shaft to maintain a smooth ride even under bending loads caused by speed or rider weight.
• Increased bushing overlap - 30mm of additional bushing overlap significantly reduces friction, providing a smoother feel, especially on rough terrain.
• GRIP X2 damping - more traction, more control, more speed. The advanced 4-way tunable GRIP X2 shock provides increased adjustability while maintaining minimal interference between settings.
• Internal Bypass Channels - These channels, moved from the rear to the inner side, increase sensitivity to small bumps, reduce pressure build-up and improve overall suspension response.
• Low-profile bleed valves - Redesigned with a grooved structure for easier pressure equalization.
• Air Spring Top Cap - Now compatible with Shimano's standard cassette tool for easy adjustment of volume spacers. • Improved Fender Mount - Mounted to the arch and seal flanges instead of bleed valves for improved durability and aesthetics.
