D1 is a premium range of DVO suspension forks. The Sapphire D1 is bigger and simpler. DVO Suspension's goal was to create a fork that could provide control and stability in harsh conditions.
The fork uses 34mm wide internal leg posts to keep up with today's demanding riding standards. Despite this, it was possible to keep the weight under 1900 g.
A slightly modified air spring provides an extremely supple initial stroke, improved mid-stroke support and a progressive end for big hit control.

Dynamic Control - High / Low Speed Compression & Dynamic Rebound - Six clicks to control low speed compression for quick adjustments on the fly.
Over 30 clicks to adjust the high-speed compression provides perfect adjustability for big impacts and control. 14 click rebound control that is 100% dynamic. This means that rebound is controlled based on the rate at which oil is flowing through the system.
Quick Range Low Speed Compression - A quick turn of the knob limits the low speed range, providing a platform for climbing.
Compression Bladder - An exclusive function where the bladder is surrounded by a large volume of oil and compresses it throughout the stroke. This provides unmatched sensitivity to small bumps, durability and damping consistency for long rides in rough conditions.
AVA - Advanced Volume Adjustment - Nice function increasing the level of adjustment to the next level. Using volume spacers to change the depth of the air piston, effectively reducing or increasing the air volume.
OTT - Off the Top - The industry exclusive OTT feature really sets DVO products apart from everything else. This allows you to fine-tune how the initial stroke feels without compromising the mid and end.
Thanks to the AVA system and exclusive OTT treatment, you now have complete control over the initial, mid and final stroke.
