The label "Factory" says it all. The best technology we have to offer is available in our Factory Series models, including our ultra-durable original Kashima Coat, which ensures a buttery ride. The newly improved and evolved range of FOX Float shocks is designed to achieve the optimal balance between light weight and the best trail performance. That's why it offers high support when moving and climbing, as well as more than adequate grip, a wide range of settings needed on technical trails and aggressive riding in general - so that the FOX Float uphill shock achieves a similar efficiency to the Float SL, while performing the same on descents well as its beefier Fox Float X sibling, with which it shares an oil damping architecture. The new FOX Float tries to squeeze the maximum out of the classic "in-line" arrangement, which results in a weight up to 150g lower than the Float X version (with expansion). In addition, its "straight" (in-line) design also means saving space inside the frame (more space for a water bottle, tools, etc.). An interesting and different element compared to the Float SL series is the switching of only two modes (Open/Firm) with the possibility of additional fine-tuning of the compression damping. However, with FOX Float shocks, the fine tuning is aimed at the "Firm" position, not the "Open" position as in the case of the Float SL.
