FOX DHX2 Factory damper with lever
The label "Factory" says it all. The best technologies are available in the Factory Series models, including the ultra-durable original Kashima Coat, which ensures smooth running. FOX's most advanced spring-loaded downhill shock system retains high- and low-speed compression settings and has received many improvements for the 2021 model year:
• complete redesign, damping and improved "bumper" for progressive resistance before stopping
• 8-position high-speed compression (HSC) and rebound (HSR) settings match those of GRIP2 suspension forks
• a two-position lever enables tightening of the silencer during departures without affecting the setting
• HSR now uses Variable Valve Control technology
• shorter expansion chamber of the shock absorber ensures compatibility with several bicycle frames
• stiffer shock absorber body for hysteresis reduction - delay of damping force
• the improved air chamber requires fewer inserts to achieve the same support
• new seals with lower friction and a more durable surface treatment of the piston rod
• increased oil circulation improves damping control and increases reliability
• SLS superlight steel springs provide titanium-level weight at an affordable price
