Compatible with:
Super boost - models M8120, M8130, M7120 and M7130 - use a Boost converter. These Super Boost cranks have a longer spindle and do not use a Super Boost converter. These cranks and derailleur should ONLY be used on bikes with Super Boost rear hub spacing (157mm)
Boost cranks - M9100, M8100, M7100, MT610 models - will use Boost converter with Boost rear hub spacing (148mm)
Wolf Tooth PowerTrac Elliptical™ (PTE) derailleurs have a less oval ring (10%) with less aggressive timing (112°) than competing versions. Any change in pedal travel is imperceptible to most riders, but they still provide the power and traction benefits of oval chainrings.
It's like having two converters in one! With PowerTrac elliptical derailleurs, the larger diameter section engages the chain at the optimal bottom stroke point or "Power Zone" - between 1-5 and 7-11 on the clock face - taking advantage of the body's natural biomechanical forces: For example, in this section, the PTE 34t derailleur equivalent to a round converter 36t. Similarly, in the "recovery zone" (11-1 and 5-7), a smaller portion of the PTE derailleur engages, maximizing efficiency at the weakest part of the pedal stroke, and here the PTE 34t derailleur is equivalent to a 32t ring derailleur.
In addition, the above provides smoother and more efficient pedal rotation, which means better traction. More stable torque at the rear wheel means less oversteer in the 'Power Zone', while pedaling is easier during the 'Recovery Zone' so you maintain momentum.
