This chain has been completely de-preserved from the factory using Silca Chain Stripper and an ultrasonic cleaner. Then Silca Secret Chain blend wax was applied to the chain including the quick release - hot bath. This resulted in a precise waxing of the entire surface of the chain, including the inner part of the pins.

 

Tips for perfect maintenance:

  • After each ride: use a dry cloth to wipe off coarse dirt that sticks to the chain
  • After every 150 km: wipe coarse dirt from the chain with a dry cloth and renew the layer of wax with a dropper - Silca Super Secret wax - drop onto the chain link by link and let it dry
