The Chorus 12x2 cassette is composed of 12 steel pinions. The six large pinions are divided into two triplets, each of which is CNC milled from a single piece of material. There is thus no potential danger of loosening individual pinions in the connecting pins. These pinions have special starting teeth on their inner side, which contribute to smoother and faster shifting.

All pinions are treated with Nickel-Chrome surface treatment, which ensures their long service life and smooth operation during shifting. The new shape of the ramps of the individual teeth contributes to smoother and quieter shifting. The cartridge also includes a light duralumin locking nut.

Campagnolo has applied a new technology called Anti stuck chain system to the new 12s cassettes. These are special teeth on the outside of the largest cog that prevent the chain from getting stuck between the cog and the rear sprocket (if the chain mistakenly goes behind the biggest cog, it will not get stuck, but when it bounces back onto the smaller cogs, the chain will run back onto the cassette).

Cassettes are offered in the following assemblies: 11-29, 11-32 and 11-34 (the 11-34 cassette requires the use of a special derailleur with an extended guide). Compatibility gets tangled up. wheels: 12s cassettes are compatible with all Campagnolo braided wheels / hubs designed for 9s / 10s and 11s cassettes.

Weight 306 g (for a combination of 11-29 teeth).

The history of this brand goes back to the year 1933 when the founder Tullio Campagnolo invented the quick-release component for wheels. Now Campagnolo is one of the significant component manufacturers, and their range is mainly composed of road groupsets, gravel groupsets and wheels.
