Campagnolo Ekar cassette, 13-round, 10-44T
Unique 13 bedroom cartridge for Campagnolo Ekar gravel sets only compatible with N3W freewheel nut.
Campagnolo EKAR 13sp. the cassette is built on 2 separate blocks. The first (smaller) block consists of 4 pinions, the second block then the remaining 9 pinions.
2 materials are used for the production of cassettes: pinion carriers are made of light duralumin alloy, special, heat-treated, carbon steel with a nickel-chrome surface treatment was used for the toothed part of the pinions, which significantly reduces friction and at the same time provides the cassette with optimal service life when driving on gravel. Two of the three supplied cassette combinations start with a 9-tooth pinion. Extensive comparative tests have shown that the use of a 9-tooth pinion is just as efficient as the use of any 10- or 11-speed pinion. Therefore, there is no need to worry about increased friction. With a 9-tooth pinion, you won't lose any power you put out!
EKAR cassettes are designed exclusively for seating on a brand new idler nut marked N3W. This nut has identical splines to the Campagnolo 9s/10s/11s/12s cassettes, but is 4.4mm shorter and therefore lighter. Currently use exclusively with Shamal Carbon C21 braided carbon wheels .
