All-new SRAM's lightest 4-piston brakes, equipped with all the goodies and materials you'd expect from an Ultimate-branded model. SRAM engineers designed them the way they would want them on the trail: power, modulation, maximum smoothness of the lever and complete adjustability. Test riders referred to them as "mini-Codes" for their Code-like appearance.

- A stiffer caliper and a new "bitter" mixture of brake pads.
- The pivot bearing accentuates the sharper pull of the lever. Brakes significantly reduce finger fatigue.
- The best power/weight ratio for SRAM four-piston brakes.
