The DB8 is our simple, robust and powerful brake for riders who prefer a one-time brake adjustment and nothing more.
The maintenance-free mineral oil system uses proven lever technology and offers easy access to adjustments and excellent ergonomic comfort. The Stealth lever design brings the hose parallel to the handlebars, allowing for a sleeker, more modern look to the bike. The Code-like strength is no surprise as the DB8 uses a similar caliper architecture and existing brake pads.
Adjusting the reach of the lever with a screw allows precise adjustment of the brake lever. Using existing brake pads as on Code brakes increases compatibility and ease of maintenance.
Designed to be used only with SRAM's mineral oil bleed kit for easy maintenance and reliable brake function.
