Nova Ride Road Ceramic middle composition, 68x24 mm, PF30
The Nova Ride Road Ceramic center compound provides lower rolling resistance and increases the smoothness of the bike's transmission system, allowing for increased performance to satisfy even the most demanding cyclists. The threaded solution of connecting the right and left bowls developed by Nova Ride enables perfect alignment - that is, it facilitates assembly, maintenance of the central assembly and increases rigidity by connecting the two bowls together, thus increasing the service life and fluidity of the bearings. This threaded solution facilitates the assembly and maintenance of the central assembly and mainly allows to increase the rigidity by connecting the two bowls together. Both duralumin bowls are made of duralumin alloy AL7075, then CNC machined and anodized.
The bearings have high-precision ceramic balls made of silicon nitride. The main advantages of ceramic bearings compared to standard bearings are their longer service life, greater strength, lower rolling resistance and excellent anti-corrosion properties. Their weight is about 60% lower, while they are 7 times stronger compared to steel balls. The gasket used minimizes friction and protects the bearing against the ingress of dirt.
The package also includes a key for mounting the left bowl.
For frames: PF30 Pressfit Road (house width 68mm, inner diameter 46mm)
For cranks: Shimano with an integrated axle with a diameter of 24mm
Warranty: lifetime warranty on duralumin bowls, 4 years warranty on bearings
WARNING: Before pressing the right-hand side of the center assembly (from the converter), it is necessary to remove the plastic bearing cap, otherwise the bearing will be damaged during pressing.
