DRF 3041 2RS SS - Stainless Steel, Flanged, Double Row, Press-Fit, Bottom Bracket Bearing Solution for BB86/92 Framesets and BB30 Style Cranks This unique custom bearing allows you to fit 30mm cranks directly into a BB86/92 frameset. With a limited inner diameter of only 41mm, the BB86/92 bottom bracket shell requires a special solution to accommodate the 30mm BB spindle. By using flanged double row bearings that are pressed directly into the BB shell, we are able to maximize the contact area by doubling the number of balls on each side to provide a long-lasting solution in an extremely tight space.

These bearings feature 440C stainless steel rings and balls with 90% fill, high pressure, waterproof grease. Not all stainless steel is created equal. Enduro uses only 440C stainless steel balls and raceways to provide long life and excellent corrosion resistance in applications and environments that may not be ideal. 440C has the highest strength, hardness and wear resistance of all the standard high carbon 440 series stainless alloys. As expected, it is also the most expensive of the 440 series alloys and requires several rounds of heat treatment and cryogenic treatment to achieve its excellent mechanical properties. Although stainless steel has 20% less load capacity and is slightly softer than our standard 52100 chrome steel used in most of our bearings, stainless steel is an excellent alternative for use in wet conditions if you wash your bike frequently or where it may sweat. problém.

All Enduro stainless bearings are covered by a full two-year corrosion warranty. This bearing is designed specifically for BB86/92 framesets and cranks with 30mm BB shafts (BB386 and BB30).
