Product description

The T47 threaded center console cover utilizes the oversized PF30 and EVO386 interface, but with the convenience and peace of mind of a threaded interface. The T47/86 places bearings across the width of the frame and is compatible with 85.5mm wide Trek frames as well as standard 86mm wide T47 Inboard frames. T47 is a standard created by the frame manufacturers themselves. It has a thread, an inner diameter of 47 mm and a width of 86 mm. It has design advantages in its oversized size and width, but also the practical advantages of threads. This kit pairs these BBs with 30mm spindle cranks. The cups have pressed-in CeramicSpeed bearings. There are two storage options. The standard bearing has CeramicSpeed balls and hardened steel raceways. The coated bearing has the same balls running on a 3 micron thick coating placed on top of these hardened steel rings for greater durability and still less friction. This BB is compatible with 86mm frames and also compatible with TREK T47 frames with a width of 85.5mm. Bottom bracket assembly tool: BBT-47.
