Li-ion battery for Giant and Liv e-bikes, which have a battery integrated in the lower frame tube. Without protective cover.

The battery is composed of Panasonic lithium cells specific for e-bikes - it contains 40 cells of the modern type 22700 (cells in the size of approx. 22x70 mm), which surpass the older types of cells 18650 and 21700 in their efficiency and enable high capacity with compact dimensions of the battery. They bring increased density, lower weight and larger volume - thanks to this, the battery heats up less and its service life is extended.

Compatible with Giant models without the need to purchase an additional cover: Reign E+ (from 2022), Trance X Advanced E+ (from 2022), Trance X E+ (from 2022), Explore E+ Pro / Explore E+ 1 / Explore E+ 2 (from 2023), Stormguard E+ (from 2023).

Also compatible with some other Giant and Liv models that have the EnergyPak Smart battery located below the down tube, when using the corresponding additional EnergyPak Smart 800 Cover (type A, B, C).

Batteries and chargers for electric bicycles from Giant
Giant was established in 1971 in Taiwan, they are one of the largest bicycle producers in the world. In the beginning, they made bikes for other companies. Since 1981 Giant has been supplying the market with bicycles under their name. They were one of the first companies to start mass production of carbon framesets. Liv is their brand for bikes for women offering MTB, road and gravel bikes. Components are also included in their offer as well as wheelsets under the name Cadex (their brand name).
