Beany Zero 29 children's bike

The Beany ZERO 29, like most bikes from the Beany line, is the lightest children's bike on the market in its category , weighing only 9.8/10 kg.

In the 29" category, young cyclists are already behind the handlebars like a house. They have experience and understand bicycles. I can pedal up hills, overcome uneven terrain, and even jump over an obstacle here and there. They go on rides not only with their parents, but also with their friends. Thanks to the larger wheels , they can reach greater speeds without much effort. So you can plan rougher terrain, longer routes, and you might be surprised at how well your little cyclist can keep up with your speed. Nine-speed transmissions already offer a fairly versatile gear range, making riding fun no matter where you go. Even for the ZERO 29 model, it still applies that it is not a scaled-down version of an adult bicycle. ZERO 29 is a lightweight, comfortable and great-handling junior bike. Superlight frame, aluminum rigid fork, special geometry for a healthy and comfortable seat behind the handlebars and of course high-quality components. All this makes the ZERO 29 a great bike for your child that will perfectly meet both your and their expectations.

Level and quality of equipment

Light and occassional rides

Suitable not only for commuting, but also for weekend trips outside the city. You can ride on cycle paths, unpaved roads and in easy terrain. If you ride more demanding terrain or more frequently, you will need to fine-tune more often.

Aluminium frame

Lighter, relatively durable and stiff material that is affordable. The most widespread material for the production of bicycle frames.

Hydraulic disc brakes

Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.

Rigid fork

You will appreciate the lighter weight and stiffness, especially when riding on the road or bike path. Minimal service.

29” wheels

The advantage is better terrain passability, better rolling and traction. However, they are heavier, which also applies to tires.

Due to long-term issues with the supply of components, some manufacturers exceptionally approach changes of installed components contrary to the specification without letting us know. Unfortunately, it is not in our power to go through each bike and verify the differences between the manufacturer's stated components and its actual equipment. Alternative parts should meet the same standards as the original. We apologise for any discrepancies.

How we ship bikes

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:

The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
