Manual:
1. Identify the source of the injection and remove the residue or source of injection.
2. Remove the tool from the rods using a 4mm Allen key. (If the tool is pre-loaded, skip to step 5)
Start by using the integrated knurled reamer on the tool to clean and roughen the hole to ensure a perfect seal.
3. If the puncture requires medium or larger wicks, then ream the hole several times with the serrated area of the tool, making sure to use a 45 degree angle and follow the direction of the tire to ensure you don't damage the tubeless tape or tire wall!
4. Now grab the tire worm (you may need to use a tool to help you get the worms out). The largest size is for MTB tires, medium for gravel tires, and small for road tires, but you can choose the best one for your hole size.
5. Now press one end of the worm firmly between your fingers to flatten it. (If you are using a thin thread through the tip at the end of the tool, not through the main larger hole).
6. Thread through the gap at the end of the tool so that the screw now sits in the center of the tool. Find the puncture hole, then insert the tool through the hole (at a 45-degree angle and watching the direction of the tire to make sure you don't damage the tubeless tape or tire wall!) until the worm is halfway up the tire. Make sure the ends of the auger remain on the outside of the tire.
7. Slowly rotate the tool a few turns clockwise to twist the wick inside the tire and slowly pull it up to remove it - the wick will remain in the tire and the hole will be clogged.
8. Re-inflate the tire to the required pressure. (We recommend a maximum of 80 PSI on a road bike!)
9. Finally, carefully cut the ends of the wicks using a knife. We recommend that you stand on the non-powered side of the bike and step away from the bike. Trim the plugs so that at least 3-5 mm still protrudes from the tire. (Caution – this is a sharp knife, so use it carefully and always cut away from your body and not too close to your fingers!!
10.Now you are ready to ride!
WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. The knife has very SHARP EDGES, so use it with care. For road tires, we strongly recommend replacing a punctured tire when it is safe to do so, especially if you intend to use it with high psi! (We recommend a maximum of 80 PSI on a road bike!)
