Finish Line HALO HOT WAX cooking bag with chain wax, 600 g
Finish Line HALO HOT WAX Lubricant Granular Double chain wax cooking bag
HALO HOT WAX is a chain wax for those who don't want to compromise. A bag of wax is boiled in hot water, the chain is immersed in it and left to dry. The reward for a more demanding application is the unrivaled performance of the chain, which does not stick to dirt, has low friction and, most importantly, a high mileage per wax application. The entire bag is enough for about 25 applications. HALO HOT WAX chain lubricant is designed to dramatically improve drivetrain performance in both dry and wet conditions.Three high-quality ingredients provide excellent results:
- Highly refined paraffin creates a robust, dry-to-the-touch coating that repels water, removes abrasive debris that causes friction and virtually eliminates chain stains.
- Shperical Tungsten has a patented hollow core that reduces vibrational friction caused by high torque pedaling. The micron and spherical shape helps reduce sliding friction by creating a rolling effect on the surface of the chain.
- Boron nitride ceramic plates cover the chain and create a protective non-stick coating. This ceramic coating works synergistically with spherical tungsten to reduce wear and help extend the life of expensive drivetrain components.

Disclaimer | Keep the maximum temperature below 104°C. Do not use an oven or microwave to melt wax. Avoid exposure to open flames. Wear gloves and goggles. If old wax needs to be removed from the chain, use boiling water to remove it. |
Manual | 1.) Disconnect the chain. Clean and dry the chain completely before using it for the first time. 2.) To melt the wax pellets, place the HALO bag in a pot of water and bring the water to a gentle boil (80-90°C). 3.) Thread the chain onto the Immersion Tool provided in the HOT WAX bag. Scan the QR code for the best technique. 4.) Once the wax pellets are completely melted, remove the bag and place it on a covered work surface. 5.) Use the Immersion Tool to dip the chain into the melted wax. 6.) Leave the chain in the wax for at least 3 minutes to ensure complete penetration into the chain bushings. 7.) Remove the chain from the bag and hang it until it is completely dry (approximately 30 minutes). Caution: Hot wax will drip from the chain. 8.) Once dry, move the chain around before putting it back on the bike. The excess wax will come off the chain. |
