Gravel-Packs are ideal additional bags if your bikepacking trips are too long and you need to pack a little more than usual for bikepacking. For multi-day bikepacking, they are supposed to be placed on the front carrier so that they are as low as possible on the bike and only minimally affect maneuvering in the terrain, but they can also be used as rear bags for any type of cycling. Especially if you are looking for very light bags. Gravel-Packs are actually a lighter version of classic Sport-Rollers, but ORTLIEB used a lighter material with Rip-Stop treatment, removed superfluous details for bikepacking, such as internal pockets, and added a second lower hook for a completely firm attachment to the bike. However, the durability, quality and waterproofness still remain in the category you are used to with ORTLIEB, which is also confirmed by the 5-year warranty. Of course, there are large reflective surfaces on the sides.
