This bag with Quick-Lock3.1 mounting system comes with the pins needed for luggage carriers that have QL3.1 compatible mounting points. If you want to use the bag on a rack without the integrated QL3.1 mount, you will need a mounting kit. The mounting kit weighs only 140 g and attaches securely to any carrier. ORTLIEB Quick-Rack carriers come with all the necessary parts, you don't need pins or a mounting kit.
Gravel-Packs are actually a lightweight version of classic Sport-Rollers, but ORTLIEB used lighter material with a Rip-Stop finish and removed unnecessary details for bikepacking, such as internal pockets.
