How to choose the right size:
The decisive factor in determining the correct size is the child's weight.
- Start by measuring the circumference of your upper arm, which is taken four finger widths above your slightly bent elbow with your biceps relaxed.
- Compare your measurements to the upper arm circumference ranges in the table below.
- If your child exceeds the maximum weight for the size listed, choose a larger size. For example, if your child's upper arm circumference is 20 cm, you should choose size M. However, if your child weighs 28 kg, choose size L.
Does this protector go on the left or right? It doesn't matter! The universal design means that a child can wear the protector on either the left or right elbow. It is impossible to mix them up.
Material
Children's hands must be able to move freely. That's why Woom made sure the outer material (70% polyester, 10% spandex, 20% nylon) was ultralight, stretchy, and flexible. Woom elbow pads fit perfectly to your child's arms and are also very easy to put on and take off. What's more, the fabric is breathable to maintain high air circulation and comfort even during long bike rides.
Anti-slip strips
Silicone strips on the top and bottom of the cuff, along with a silicone print on the inside, ensure that the pads stay in place even when the child rides on bumpy terrain.
Impact pads
The protectors (made of 100% PU) have a nice and soft feel while riding, but immediately harden upon impact, absorbing the impact and protecting your child's precious elbows.
Robust surface
The abrasion-resistant layer on the elbow pads makes these protectors extremely robust and durable.
The use
Woom elbow pads are designed exclusively for children and are only suitable for everyday cycling and roller sports. They are not approved for high-speed cycling, downhill, dirt jumping or BMX jumps and stunts.
