Ready for long endurance rides, but also good looking off the bike.There are days when loose shorts give you the right look. However, many of us meditate on whether we are willing to compromise on comfort for the sake of appearance and end up wearing elastics. So in Castelli, they set out to produce better shorts. They've gone for a stretch woven fabric that provides great stretch, yet is incredibly light and durable at the same time. They've added a water-repellent DWR finish, so mud and drops don't stand a chance. They made the pair of pockets in the front like jeans, so whatever you put in there won't fall out. They made the cut relatively close to the body, so you'll look good even off the bike, and they won't pull up when you're riding. Everything seems to disappear. The shorts do not have their own cycling liner, so wear them over your favorite Castelli elastic shorts. For example, the Superleggera model is a good choice for warmer weather, or the Unlimited Ultimate if you want extra pockets and ventilation.
