The Perfetto RoS 2 WIND jersey started life as a request from our professional riders: I want to keep wearing the Gabba jersey, but sometimes it's too hot. So a slightly lighter and more breathable version of the Gabba is the Perfetto Light.
With the fourth generation, we are also changing the name from Perfetto Light to Perfetto RoS 2 Wind. It has become a staple in our fall and spring wardrobes because it is so useful in so many situations that it is very difficult to define exactly. In a sense it is a warmer vest as it has the same construction as the Perfetto RoS 2 vest but with short sleeves. In another sense, it's a less warm Gabba. First of all, it is a jersey with front wind protection.
No matter how YOU define it, you'll appreciate how it provides just the right amount of protection on cold days while maintaining a high level of breathability. You feel warm and protected in it, but at the same time it offers you almost the same lightness and freedom of movement as a summer jersey.
On mild days, we will use it as a jersey over a light base layer with Seamless arm sleeves. In colder or changeable conditions, we put it on a jersey with Seamless or Nano Flex arm sleeves.
The "2" part of the name refers to the latest version's updates, including a two-way YKK® Vislon® zipper for better ventilation adjustment. The reflective elements on the back are more visible, the trio of pockets can hold more gear and the extended back section has been reduced to make it a bit more packable.
