The jacket uses Castelli Ristretto Technology, which regulates air flow so that you stay dry from the inside. A great jacket that will keep you dry and warm for longer, so you can spend more time on the bike.The Perfetto Air Jacket represents a new way of dressing in winter conditions. To create this jacket, Castelli developed its own fabrics with the help of Ristretto Technology. This technology has made it possible to fine-tune the amount of air it lets in with the amount of moisture that can penetrate from the inside out. Because when you are dry, you are warmer and more comfortable, and the more comfortable you feel on the bike, the longer you can stay on it. Ristretto Technology materials breathe, but are also elastic and allow for a cut that fits the jacket like never before.
The Ristretto Lite material was used for the Perfetto Air jacket for maximum breathability and comfort. The elasticity of the fabric allows for a body fit and absolute freedom of movement. Since this is a winter jacket, the manufacturer has added insulation in the key places where it blows you the most to keep it warmer.
The Perfetto Air jacket can be used in a wide range of conditions - it works great with a short undershirt for slightly cooler days and when the temperature drops, it works great with the Flanders tank top. You don't even have to worry about rain or wet roads, because Ristretto Lite has a PFAS-free DWR treatment. For days when you know it's going to be wet and rainy, it can be combined with the Ultra Rain Cape for full protection with a snug fit.
