What makes this jacket work in full gear is the two-layer Alpha construction, which will make you race-ready at the start of spring. The elastic fabric of the top layer allows some air to pass through so you don't sweat as much when riding hard in the cold, because when you're wet, you'll be cold. The Polartec® Alpha inner layer insulates, but is breathable enough and so light you won't even know you're wearing anything.
The back is made of Nano Flex Extra Dry, which insulates solidly, but thanks to the fact that it does not have a membrane, it breathes well and sweat can evaporate quickly. The cut is on the body so that nothing flutters in the wind, and small details complete the whole: smooth-running YKK® zippers, reflective elements and drainage holes on the pockets, flat silicone hem on the waist. The precise fit makes it the most aerodynamic Castelli jacket. Not that aerodynamics are so important in winter, but at Castelli they believe that speed is fun.

This lightweight, super breathable and extremely fast jacket is great for high-intensity rides or when you want to maintain an optimal temperature in cold conditions.
