The new higher level fabric technology makes this jersey faster, water repellent and warmer, even though it is lighter. Similar jersey to Aero Race, but more for cold conditions.
- The Nano Flex Light fabric around the entire perimeter partially blocks the wind, but the absence of a membrane guarantees maximum breathability.
- The 3D Mesh fabric we use for Castelli functional undershirts is used as a front lining for extra warmth and moisture wicking.

We have been using Nano Flex Light stretch fabric on the back of Perfetto vests and Beta jackets for several years. The densely woven fabric keeps a lot of wind out while being relatively thin and compact. The absence of a membrane means that much more moisture can escape to the outside.
Now we've used this fabric for a jersey that's lightweight but surprisingly warm thanks to the way it blocks wind compared to traditional jerseys. We line the front of the jersey with fabric that comes directly from our technical base layers to keep you warm and help wick moisture away from the body.
This jersey actually covers a wider temperature range than our traditional knit jerseys. Wear it with a lightweight sleeveless base layer for mildly chilly days, a lightweight long-sleeve base layer for mild winters, and a Flanders Warm or Miracolo base layer and vest to keep you comfortable in surprisingly cold temperatures.
The stretch woven fabric is aerodynamic and gives the jersey a snug fit. Think of it as your Aero Race jersey for spring and fall days.
