Brynje wool pants with knee pads are a unique base layer designed for year-round use, made of merino wool and polyamide. Designed by a team with years of winter expedition experience, the merino mesh system helps create a garment with excellent moisture wicking ability.

Strange as it may sound, this mesh system has been tested and proven over decades of expeditions in some of the harshest environments. When worn under a merino wool midlayer, this base layer provides an extremely soft, warm and comfortable feel as the mesh helps trap air pockets and provides excellent insulation.

These Brynje Wool Thermo Long trousers have a full-length rigid knee pad for protection.

This garment has been designed for year-round use in cold conditions, including longer winter expeditions. Ideal for multi-day activities, canoeing, cycling and hiking.

Underpants from Brynje
Brynje is top underwear for any weather or activity. This family company was established in 1887 in Larvik, Norway. In the 1950s, they developed the first mesh clothing, which was tested by Norwegian soldiers in the Hardangervidda plateau. Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay wore Brynje thermal underwear on their first expedition to Mt. Everest in 1953. Their mesh Super Thermo was modified throughout the years. Military, expedition members, rescue teams and athletes use their products.
