Yakima S44 roof rack, black
Yakima S44 wing-shaped roof racks have aerodynamic resistance reduced to a minimum, which essentially means that when driving their complete silence at any vehicle speed. They also have virtually zero impact on vehicle fuel consumption.
This model is placed between the rails (longitudinal roof racks) and thus hardly increases the height of the car at all. Not only do they look great aesthetically, but for many drivers they are the only solution when they cannot get their car into the garage without having to remove the roof box. And they're only a few centimeters away...
You can drive with Yakima S44 roof racks all year round, because even when you don't need them, they don't detract from the appearance of your vehicle and are so quiet that you won't even know they're there when you're driving.
Also, the T-slot for mounting accessories is covered on the inside and remains covered along its entire length regardless of whether you have any accessories mounted on the racks or not. This prevents the unpleasant squeaking caused by driving with an uncovered T-slot.
Mounting/dismounting roof racks is very easy. The only tool you need is an Allen key, which is hidden in the foot of the carrier, so you always have it with you.
Yakima S44 carriers do not require a mounting kit.
